Marie-Claire is a Canadian Certified Counsellor, and a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist (with the ADTA). She is a creative, intuitive, personable woman who approaches mental health and well-being from a body-based, somatic perspective.
Through her work with individuals across the life span with diverse developmental capacities, she understands the value of movement as a tool for emotional and mental well being.
Through her work, individuals have an opportunity to connect with themselves from an embodied perspective, and gain a deeper experiential understanding of the mind-body connection.
Marie-Claire weaves her advanced counselling education with her in-depth training in Dance/Movement Therapy, bridging the gap between mind and body, spirit and psyche. Marie-Claire works with individuals of all ages, with experience in developmental disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodiversity, and emotional self-inquiry.
Marie-Claire pursues continuous clinical supervision and consultation for her work as a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist with Dr. Christina Devereaux, PHD, LMHC, LCAT, BC-DMT, NCC.
